Sustainability in the kitchen
It's so easy to be a little more sustainable in the kitchen - and even better and more fun. A great example of this are our different dish brush handles with interchangeable heads in hard or soft - say goodbye to the old plastic brushes! There's also a solid dishwashing soap - another plastic bottle less.
Our brushes are also more suitable for cleaning mushrooms or vegetables than their plastic "sisters" - and of course more sustainable anyway. Trimmings and materials are made of horsehair, hard union fiber, bristle, but also loofah or even coconut shells.
Isn't that far too many brushes? No! A nice utensil holder or a jar with all the brushes for the kitchen ready to hand on the sink not only looks nice, but also ensures that you always have the right tool to hand.
Textile instead of plastic
Nothing is better for storing fresh food such as vegetables or herbs than linen or jute bags. Potatoes, apples, carrots, cabbage and onions, as well as other fresh vegetables and herbs, are protected from drying out or spoiling in a breathable way and can simply be washed out if they get dirty. How much foil you can save!
Copper makes sensitive surfaces shine!
It has almost been forgotten, the scratch-free cleansing power of copper! Fine copper strands lift even the most stubborn dirt gently – because copper is a soft metal which doesn’t scratch when wet. Our copper products clean pots, pans, sinks, stoves, Ceran cooktops, glass, stainless steel, and much more. They are wonderfully suited to gently and thoroughly remove rust deposits from flatware. They will leave no scratches on enamel or Ceran surfaces and will bring your sink to a high gloss. Do not use on Teflon or other sensitive surfaces, and always use with plenty of water.
Ideal and durable kitchen tools made from olive wood
Olive wood is special not only because of its extraordinarily beautiful grain – it is also extremely hard due to the slow growth of the olive tree. Its high oil content makes it resistant to moisture, easy to grip, and smooth. Our olive wood products are minimally processed. That means they are only waxed or oiled. Please do not put these natural wood items into the dishwasher or treat with scratchy pads or sponges; rather, rinse them off and dry after use. Rub a little olive or sunflower oil into the wood occasionally to preserve its colour and natural long life.
