The best way to care these precious brushes and dusters made of the hair of Chinese long-haired goats or horsehair is the same as your own hair: with lukewarm water and a mild shampoo (or mild detergent solution).
After washing, wrap in a towel and press dry and hang out in the fresh air or indoors at room temperature to dry (please don’t ever lay the brushes on the heater to dry, otherwise the soft bristles may dry out). Then comb out gently using a metal comb and then hang on a hook or lay flat for storage.

Care of your hairbrushes
For the optimal cleansing of all of your brushes, use lukewarm soapy water and our special brush cleaner. Using the comb and brush cleaner, you can effortlessly remove all of the hair from your brushes. Simply move the moistened brush cleaner back and forth between the individual rows, effectively removing hairspray residue and other hair care products. Do not immerse your brushes totally in water! After cleansing, dry your brushes with the bristles pointing downward.
Olive wood product care
Our olive wood products are minimally processed. That means they are only waxed or oiled. Please do not put these natural wood items into the dishwasher or treat with scratchy pads or sponges; rather, rinse them off and dry after use. Rub a little olive or sunflower oil into the wood occasionally to preserve its colour and natural long life.
